Tod Bovingdon - Founder & Tournament Director

Tod became actively involved in Tournament organizing in 2000 when he took over the helm of the Richmond Hill Association’s annual tournament and shepherded it for two years.  Moving to Newmarket he inaugurated their fundraising tournament (now one of the largest in the region) .

Building on those successes he started Sport Destination to bring women’s tournaments to Las Vegas.

Tod is also the owner of TODIO.ca a television sound recording business.  He plays goal for the house league when they need a ‘target’.

Dave McFadden - Referee in Chief

Dave is the Referee-in-Chief for the Newmarket, ON Association.

Dave has been the RIC for the “What Happens in Vegas...” tournament since its inception.

Interested in officiating some games in Vegas!  Contact Dave and get on his list.  Please supply him with your name, contact details (address, phone, email), referee level, home association, number of years in stripes and any other information that you feel would make you a good candidate (special events you have officiated, awards etc.)  Refs are eligible for travel assistance to come to Vegas, get a hotel room (but if travelling alone you may be asked to share a room with another ref of the same gender), and all the other perks given to our Package Participants.

Refs may bring a spouse/companion along at the guest-double rate (with all the perks) & if your companion agrees to volunteer at the tournament we’ll cut that fee in half!
